Back to the office? Say goodbye to pajama-clad Zoom calls and hello to real clothes (yes, the kind with buttons). Whether you’re dusting off your desk or just trying to remember how to socialize before caffeine kicks in, consider this your Office Reset. A fresh routine, a mindset shift, and maybe even a new go-to power look can make the transition smoother—and dare I say, a little fun? Let’s dive into a few simple yet effective ways to step back into the office with confidence and ease.
I'll keep it brief...cuz well...we gotta get to work, lol. Listen...I know, I know, I know it's hard to transition back into the office after the pandemic spoiled us. I don't foresee us being back in the pre-2020 schedule of 5 days a week but until the dust settles n the smoke clears-here we are and unless yall have a better idea to fund the lifestyle n pay the bills; hold your mule becuz this too shall pass. We KNEW this day was coming. Nonetheless, instead of dreading the commute or mourning your sweatpants, reframe the experience as stepping into a new season of your career. Treat your morning coffee or tea like a ritual, curate a werk-worthy playlist, and plan outfits that make you feel unstoppable (yes, I can help with that too).

Romanticize the return: even small things—like sprucing up your desk with a chic planner or a new signature pen—can make the transition feel less like a chore. I for one, am not the one with a bunch of trinkets and family pics on my desk. Nope! Clean and simple becuz the rule is just enuff to fill A box-just in case! It’s all about finding little joys in the routine or at least start one. We are in the times of uncertainty and if nothing else, this is where we need to be here for each other. Check your attitude at the door and find the silver lining in it all. People are vulnerable n fragile and coming into work with a chip on your shoulder isn't the answer. Turn gripes into grapes :D
