February Nail Files: Fresh Start

Writer's picture: kisha no ekisha no e

In celebration of new opportunities and fresh starts, I wanted my nails this month to reflect such and went with natural n neutral shades becuz as the new girl, I wanna come in soft n quiet vs ROWR ROWR like a dungeon dragon-until I get a lay of the land n figure out the culture of the workplace before I show too much personality.

The color scheme was taupey and nude to keep it light and my right ring finger has some glimmer n sparkle to keep the essence of my being alive, lol. Although color options to nails seem quite simple, I don't take how my hands are styled lightly and yes-I'm quite anal about details becuz I intentionally dress so I'd like everything to flow from head to toe.

A natural, neutral palette serves as a quiet confidence, effortlessly polished yet understated, allowing me to ease into my new environment with grace. It’s a subtle way of saying, I’m here, I’m poised, and I’m ready—without feeling the need to announce myself too boldly just yet

Stepping into a new space is all about balance—observing, adapting, and finding the right moment to make your mark. That’s exactly the energy I wanted my nails to embody this month. Once I settle in and get a feel for the new digs, I’ll let my nails go back to "normal" as they get to kno w me by adding touches of personality as I carve out my space. It'll all make sense to them by March **cue evil laugh**
