Goodbye all year and Helloooo END of 2024!! If you've been tuning into all of my first of the month posts, its no surprise we're here as I've been reminding yall how fast time been skipping. We've made it a solid twelve months n that's no small feat.

If you've caught from my previous post or two, I've had a lot going on and while I am on the up n up of gettin back on track-here comes December. I am hoping to use this month to move forward after laying my Grandma to rest. These last few weeks leading up to her memorial had me all out of wack n the concept of time just didn't seem to exist as I was stuck between standing still...inching forward...freezing a thought n harkening back on memories. Throughout the whole ordeal, I still find times to give grace n glory to God becuz my faith is strong n I don't take anything for granted.

I can officially woooosaaaaah after my Grandma's homegoing service n honoring her wishes of where she wanted to be laid to rest (I'm an advocate for cremation-she was not, lol). I am using these upcoming 31 days to maintain optimism for next year to be better than the last. With winter showing up, YES...I'm hibernating n doing more Sip Trips INSIDE!! I just recently did a Nespresso run to re-up becuz ain't too much cheesing n posing I can do when its 30 degrees first thing in the morning lol.

While I know it's "tis the season" it doesn't feel like much cheer is around...what is goin on with yall? I don't feel none of the spirit in the air O_o I stayed pretty local for Thanxgiving but that holiday I can easily be home becuz I don't eat any more nor less than a regular day.

I already struggle during the holiday season but I did make it through last year's depressional state with continuing to do Pilates (it'll be 2 yrs next Spring), my morning routines with the sunrise n intentional time with family n friends. Yall definitely keep me going n again...the love doesn't go unnoticed.

So what do I have planned for December??? Pretty much completing what I didn't last month and getting back to blogging ESP since I'll be in the house more. I'll share some mini hauls n don't be surprised if u see Summer attire mixed in, lol. I still owe yall our Fall Family shoot too.

I wanna be snuggled up watching classic Christmas movies this month too! I don't know if it's me or not but daytime savings hit different this go round too. I typically transition pretty well after the first week but it seems like it feels late n my body goes to bed by 9p n wake up at midnight as if I slept a full 8 hrs :7

Also, yes, I am still thinking of a re-brand for some fresh balls ;) I am evolving into bigger thangs **pun intended** n want the fresh brand to reflect the growth. It'll still be under the umbrella of lifestyle n keepin the emphasis on style but I'm also debating on incorporating some Workplace Tips to accompany my Werk Couture. As someone with an extensive background in the administrative field, I grew up with gems from the elders I've worked with n as I age in the game; I see ain't nothing changed but the day! Same script-different cast as Nippy said. There's a lot of etiquettes n unspoken rules in the workplace culture people don't pay attn to and due to the current climate...they won't tell u out loud. You won't know it til u peep how ur being looked over for promotions n wondering why u juggle many hats without compensation. These corporate streets play a different game!!

Soooo yea...welcome to December and a reflecting on another year to remember. This is the month where death notices seem to double up as a lot of folks won't make it to next month-again, I count my blessings.
